To mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of VE Day for The Russian News and Information Agency, RIA Novosti, a 15m Harkness matt white screen showed the Georgy Paradzhanov's film, whilst the St Petersburg Academic Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by the composer's son, played Shostakovich's 7th (Leningrad) Symphony.
